If the spot is level as possible and you work the wrinkles out as the pool starts to fill you will indeed be swimming or lounging in less than a half hour. Have had mine up for a month now and even though its only 8' round it has enough water to float in a float chair. Or several people t o just sit and have cocktails. Very satisfied
